Standing With Young People: Why Beboc Supports the UKRPA’s Charity, YoungMinds

At Beboc, we believe that standing together as a community means more than just doing good work; it means doing work that does good. That’s why I’m proud to share that the UKRPA (UK Revenue Protection Association) has chosen YoungMinds as its charity partner for the next two years – a nomination that is particularly close to my heart.

As an associate member of the UKRPA, Beboc is deeply committed to the values that underpin this decision: compassion, advocacy, and collective action. YoungMinds is a charity supporting children and young people’s mental health, providing vital resources, services, and a voice for those who need it most. Their support has made a real difference for many families – mine included.

YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity fighting for young people’s mental health. Its mission is simple but powerful: to ensure no young person feels alone with their mental health. Youngminds works to empower young people under the age of 25, as well as the parents, carers, and professionals who support them.

From practical advice and digital resources to parent helplines and training programmes, YoungMinds provides a lifeline when needed most. What sets them apart is their unwavering belief that every young person matters and that early, meaningful support can change lives.

Their current strategy, You Matter, places young people at the heart of everything they do. Whether through advocacy, support services, or educational initiatives, YoungMinds is building a world where mental health is understood, respected, and properly supported.

The UKRPA brings together companies across the utilities industry that detect and deal with meter tampering and the illegal abstraction of electricity and gas. While stopping energy theft helps prevent ongoing financial loss, this work also plays a vital role in protecting people’s welfare and ensuring the safety of communities, a goal that closely aligns with the values upheld by YoungMinds.
